Last night I wrote several letters to some of the companies that make the lunch box beverages in a box. Today I thought about writing the same information here because it's important.

 I have a 20 month old grand-daughter that loves the juice and milk boxes. You know, the ones that everyone's putting in with the kids lunch. She'd much rather drink one of them rather than drink out of her cups. One day I noticed her pulling the straw out of the box once she was done. I had to crab the straw from her so she wouldn't poke herself in the eye or ear. Naturally she's too young to understand, so I just make sure I keep a close eye on her while she's drinking them, or put the beverage in a cup when I know that I'm going to be doing something, like fixing her some food in the kitchen and can't watch every move that she makes.

I suggested to the companies that they put a warning on the boxes (for the parents), that a child under a certain age should be monitored when drinking their product. Let's see what happens!!

If you have a computer and some lunch box beverages, send a letter to the company so we can all feel a little saver knowing that there's a warning on the little boxes and our children won't be poking their eyes out or damaging their little tiny ear drums.
